Thank you for your interest in the redevelopment of your local Safeway store on Redwood Road in Oakland.  

Safeway proposes to replace its existing 18,505 square foot store built in 1963 with a new urban 45,222 square foot store with rooftop parking.  In addition to what the existing store currently caries, the new store will add a full service bakery, pharmacy, service meat and seafood, and coffee bar.
